Work Experience Programme
At UAH, all Sixth Form pathways—academic, vocational, technical and T‑Levels—are supported by a comprehensive Work Experience Programme. Every student gains real‑world insight, workplace experience and practical skills before completing Year 13.
What it involves:
- Short‑term placements, job‑shadowing, live projects or extended placements depending on course.
- Development of employability skills: communication, teamwork, time management, responsibility and workplace professionalism.
- Structured preparation, support during placement and guided reflection after placement.
Benefits:
- Clarify career interests and suitability.
- Strengthen university, apprenticeship and job applications.
- Build real‑world professional networks.
