How the Course is Examined The T Level uses a mixture of exams, projects, and practical assessments:
- Core Component: Assessed via two written exams (Paper A: Science & Health Sector; Paper B: Science Concepts) and an Employer Set Project (ESP) where you solve a real-world problem.
- Occupational Specialism (Laboratory Sciences): Assessed via a series of synoptic assignments that test your practical ability to perform lab techniques, manage data, and troubleshoot issues.
- Industry Placement: You must complete a minimum of 315 hours (approx. 45 days) of work experience with an employer.
