At University Academy Holbeach Sixth Form, we offer a wide range of super-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities designed to support academic success, personal development, and progression beyond Sixth Form.
Super-curricular activities extend learning beyond the classroom and beyond the specification. They enable students to explore subjects in greater depth, develop independent thinking, and demonstrate genuine academic curiosity. These experiences are highly valued by universities and apprenticeship providers and play a key role in strengthening applications through UCAS.
Extra-curricular activities complement academic study by developing confidence, leadership, teamwork, creativity, and wellbeing. Through enrichment activities, clubs, sport, volunteering, trips, and leadership opportunities, students build the transferable skills needed for future study and employment.
Students are supported to record and reflect on both super-curricular and extra-curricular engagement using Unifrog, ensuring they can clearly evidence their experiences when preparing personal statements, apprenticeship applications, interviews, and future progression plans.
Together, our super-curricular and extra-curricular provision ensures that students leave UAH Sixth Form as well-rounded, motivated, and ambitious learners, fully prepared for university, apprenticeships, and future careers.
